Contractors accuse Rep. Arjo Atayde and other officials of soliciting kickbacks in DPWH flood control projects, seeking state witness status and protection.

MANILA – A storm is brewing in the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) as controversial contractors Curlee and Sarah Discaya have dropped bombshell allegations, naming several high-profile officials in connection with anomalous flood control projects.

In explosive testimony, the Discayas identified a list of individuals who allegedly solicited kickbacks in exchange for project favors. The list includes Quezon City Representative Arjo Atayde, alongside a host of other prominent figures:

The Discayas are seeking protection and support from the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee and President Bongbong Marcos Jr., expressing their desire to serve as state witnesses in the unfolding scandal.
