Manila, Philippines – Former actor Robby Tarroza has reported receiving death threats after publicly challenging Senator Jinggoy Estrada to resign and threatening to expose the lawmaker’s alleged “double life.” Tarroza made the claims via a series of explosive Facebook posts.
“Eto na po mga death threats na! I do not care! I will continue to speak the TRUTH! SINUNGALING KA!” Tarroza wrote, vowing not to be silenced despite the threats.
Tarroza’s accusations stem from the collapse of his relationship with businessman Joed Serrano. In his posts, Tarroza alleges that Senator Estrada had an affair with Serrano during the 2004 presidential campaign of Fernando Poe Jr.
“Jinggoy mag-resign ka na!!! Kundi I will be forced to tell the country about your double life!!! You are one of the reasons bakit kami naghiwalay. I have ALL the receipts, dear. Try me! Pareho lang kayo ng ex ko… Baby!” Tarroza stated. He further alleged, “Pati si Joed mag-testigo paano sila nagka** habang nangompaña dati for FPJ.”
Senator Estrada has yet to respond to Tarroza’s allegations. These accusations come amidst growing scrutiny over Estrada’s alleged involvement in questionable infrastructure contracts. Brice Hernandez, a dismissed assistant district engineer, testified before the House infrastructure committee that Estrada imposed a 30-percent “SOP” on projects, allegedly under the orders of then-DPWH district engineer Henry Alcantara. Estrada has vehemently denied these accusations, challenging Alcantara to a lie detector test.
The accusations made by Tarroza add a new layer of complexity to the ongoing controversy surrounding Senator Estrada, raising questions about his personal conduct alongside the existing allegations of corruption. The public awaits further statements from both Senator Estrada and Joed Serrano regarding these serious claims.

Estrada’s Lawyer Again Requests Hospital Transfer Due to Recurring Bleeding
The legal team of former San Juan Mayor Jinggoy Estrada has once again requested his transfer to Makati Medical Center (MMC), citing a recurrence of rectal bleeding last week.
Atty. Noel Malaya filed an urgent motion seeking permission for Estrada to be moved to MMC, based on the recommendation of the family’s physician, Dr. Lorenzo Jocson. The doctor argued that the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC), where Estrada is currently detained, lacks the necessary equipment for proper treatment.
According to the motion, Estrada experienced renewed rectal bleeding on Friday, July 26, and again on July 30, prompting the call for Dr. Jocson.
However, Justice Minita Chico-Nazario, chairman of the division, stated that the former mayor had no reason to fear, as his condition is not life-threatening. Nazario shared that one of her siblings also experienced rectal bleeding due to hemorrhoids.
Nazario suggested that if Estrada requires a colonoscopy, the necessary equipment could be borrowed from MMC, eliminating the need to transfer him out of VMMC.
Associate Justice Edilberto Sandoval expressed surprise that VMMC, purportedly supplied by the United States, lacks the capacity to address Estrada’s condition. “Every time Jinggoy gets sick, he wants to be transferred. What kind of hospital is VMMC? I understand that this is supplied by the US, so why does it seem like a worthless hospital?” Sandoval questioned.
The court is now deliberating on the motion, weighing the arguments for and against transferring Estrada to MMC for treatment. The decision will consider both Estrada’s health concerns and the court’s responsibility to ensure his continued detention.
